My Teacher, My Hero

Its been many years and teachers are still among us. Each year that passed, many students have grown successful and now living a luxurious life. They are heroes not only for today but through the ages. They give knowledge and wisdom to the society that creates a better country.

From the weakest to the strongest kind, nobody is left behind if we are in their side. Bringing light to the path of the future that we will be having. To guide us to the right path is what they do most.

Their service is very unique. They give and share their thoughts to the young ones. Giving lectures is not only their job but to be a second parent they also act. I consider each and every teacher a hero. They have the determination and I can really see it in them that it is their mission to motivate and inspire us youngsters to learn and be more attentive in our studies. They mold us and make us better not only in our class but also outside of school. They teach us in a very exciting way. Their method in teaching is one of a kind. We are lucky we have them and we believe in their capabilities that can change us to a better man for our country and even for the world.

Modern Hero

Years and ages have past. But their presence doesn’t last. Living normally but serving mysteriously. Who am I talking about? Heroes of the never ending society.
A hero is never the kind of person that wears neither a cape nor a mask. It’s never the type of person that can fly or lift heavy objects. It’s not important if heroes are born or made, the important thing in being a hero is that they help in such and many ways. A hero can be everyone, it can be you, and it can be me. But for me the only hero in my life is my Mother. She doesn’t have special powers, she doesn’t wear a cape or a mask, and she’s just a plain and normal human. She have done and contributed many things in my life and I think that each and every hero deserves a thank you.
Thank you mother for the chance you gave to see the beauty of the world. Thank you, for all your sacrifices to give the best life you can. Thank you mother, for your unconditioned love to make my life complete. Thank you for all your support to show that you really care for me. Thank you mother for serving as my light to guide me when things go wrong. Thank you, for all the good things you taught that surely directs me to the right path. Thank you for being a hero Mom.

Powerful Tool of a Nation

Language is one of the most powerful tool or weapon that a nation could have. It strengthens the unity of a nation as it brings understanding among its citizenry. Our country, the Philippines is very fortunate for having a national language- Filipino. The Filipino language is of a diverse kind, some have a misconception about the national language as they often refer to it as the Tagalog dialect but we should understand that these are two different things as the Tagalog dialect is only a part of the Filipino Language.

But how does a simple language help in the uplifting of our nations strength? Well it’s not that simple, one needs to be aware and concern about his national language and should know how to use it properly. If we understand each other, then being a Filipino isn’t hard after all. The true essence of having a national language is that we can understand each other and unity will arose if understanding is present to one another.

Filipinos are all around the globe, spreading the greatness of each and every Filipino citizen. The goal of each and every country is to become successful. In order to be successful we should attain unity and understanding to each other. By simply doing these simple methods it would make our country even better and make it even more successful.

First Grading Period

I’ve learned a lot, a lot of discoveries and learnings in my ICT class. My knowledge about the Internet has expanded because of these learnings. I now know how the internet begun and how it improved throughout the years. I also learned something about Blogs and how to make one. It is good that I learned a lot. Knowing the major and minor details about the Internet and Blogging is great and it helps a lot.

But in every knowledge that I have gained there are also problems and challenges that I have encountered. In Blogging, it is good to cite and express your thoughts to other people about a certain topic or subject but for me I am a little bit nervous and afraid to what I might share and to what I might cite about a topic. I am just afraid that I might say something bad about a subject and I might hurt someone’s feelings.
But still I managed to confront and face my fears. So if ever I make a blog I always keep in mind “This is what I can see and observe.” It’s just a thought, it’s just an observation, a commentary about an issue and topic. This is what I keep in mind all the time.

Moving on, I will continue and always keep in mind these learnings that has been thought and to not forget the mistakes that I have done, for these problems and challenges that comes across are the true lessons and we should learn from them.

PNOY SONA' 12

Another state of the nation address has come and passed but still nothing good is happening. Mr. Benigno S. Aquino III has once again talked and stated to the public his plans and the things he have accomplished throughout the year. He just loves to talk and make plans but did he ever make anything good and big to the public? Did he ever accomplish any of his plans in his past SONA? There are too many questions to answer, there are many problems to solve, it’s time for the president to act not just to talk and astound everyone with his sweet words and brilliant plans. It’s time to act and do something big.

He mentioned many programs and projects but none of them got my attention and amazed me. Yes he has done many programs but do these programs and projects solve the crisis that is now affecting our life today? So what if he has many programs, he is just helping the country in his little ways. He talks too much but he only talks about something small, it’s like he doesn’t even care about the big problems and issues that is happening to his country. He just does what he thinks. He says that “This is not a simple situation, and there can be no simple solutions. Rest assured: We are consulting experts, every leader of our nation, our allies—even those on the other side—to find a resolution that is acceptable to all.” He even consults experts and more but still his actions are still the same, his decisions are not good enough for me. All I want to say is that he should focus on the big and main problems of the country, he should give prioritize the main issues of the country in that way he will make a big change.

I am still a kid, I may not understand how or why does he prioritize the small problems and not the big issues. It is good that he has done many projects and programs but Mr. President answer and solve the big problems not the small ones. Try to widen your thoughts and make the right decision. More work less talk.

Veggies for Life

There are many foods to eat and it’s even hard to think which one to pick. It smells good and even looks good, should I pick this or should I eat that, which one to choose or which one to take? Just take anything, damn I’m starving.
From meaty meats to fresh fruits, green and leafy vegetables are the best. Vegetables are good for the health, safe and harmless. There is nothing to worry about if ever they are served. Vegetables are healthy to eat, it contains vitamins that our body needs. Vegetables should be cooked and eaten while they are fresh and new for us to avoid the spoilage of it.
Not only old peoples should eat it, it’s for everyone’s appetite. Kids should eat vegetables now that they are still at young age for their body to grow healthy, not just physically but also mentally. Eat vegetable daily and make it a habit eating healthy foods. Start taking care of your health while you’re still young, remember a good start leads you to better tomorrow.
Veggies should be served every single day and become a part of everyone’s diet. Be a vegetarian and you’ll grow physically fit, mentally alert and generally become healthy. Go for green, avoid fats, and avoid meats and oily foods, if you want to lengthen the span of your life eat and pick green leafy and fresh vegetables for your daily diet. A healthy diet makes a healthy and energetic country, eat Veggie!

Dear PNOY

Mr. Benigno S. Aquino III,
All the things that I am about to tell is just based on my own opinions and things that I have seen about you Mr. President.
Life’s been good since the day you became the President of the Republic. Many things changed when you seated as the President. You put up many programs and services for the country and especially for the people. But are you contented to what you’ve done? Can we say that you have reduced the poverty of our country? Are you sure you eliminated all the government officials that are corrupt? Think again Mr. President, this is just the beginning of your work.
Are you busy for your country or are you busy looking for the right girl to be your future wife? Give a break Mr. President, the girls only like you because you’re the president and they know that you are a rich and wealthy person. Why can I say that you are rich and wealthy? It’s because you bought a sports car and do the people of our country know how much a sports car cost? You must be kidding us Mr. President, there are still many people who are living in squatter areas, there are still people who doesn’t have houses and some lives on the streets and beggars who begs for food and money, street dwellers are still roaming around on the streets of the Philippines.
I will only appreciate your work if you will decrease poverty in the Philippines by 50 percent or more. That’s all Mr. President I hope and expect much from you.
                        I hope this helps.
                        Thank you.
                        Good luck!
